Words can not describe how painful it was to watch, the only reason I did so was my mother likes romantic comedies and I wondered if it was a viable purchase for her.
It isn’t, it isn’t suitable for anyone – even if you hate them.
The acting was non-existent, the dialogue was cringe-inducing and the whole film felt like THEY were trying to make us think Domestic Security Services randomly spying on their own citizens was funny.
It isn’t funny and neither is the film – it is also very hard to even consider rooting for a happy ending between a woman and her stalker.
It did also rive home to me just how bad a director McG is – everything he touches has the emotional depth of a very poor three minute music video for a pop song with no soul or intelligence.
