The Breast a girl can get

It is summer and despite the lack of actual sunshine is my current geographical location there are a great many people dressing as if there is heat.

This is where it can get a bit awkward as some of the females have apparently not looked in a mirror or any reflective surface – specifically in terms of ensuring that their breasts have suitable and adequate support.

I am aware that bad days can happen to anyone, from bad hair days to bad shirt days, bad mood days and so on. But bad bra days are tricky – not only must the poor lady in question be very very uncomfortable but a truly ill-fitting bra can ruin any outfit, is instantly noticed by most people and, in the worst instances, is REALLY hard to forget once seen.

The other extreme is, of course, not wearing a bra when too well-endowed to get away without. This grabs the eye in the same way and is even harder to forget; an otherwise lovely lady who I know is currently etched on my brain after she free-style bounce around the workplace in a most painful looking manner.

I am all for being supportive of people; however sometimes an individual has to provide their own support!

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be an appropriate way of suggesting a better bra without hurting someone’s feelings, so this season I will be getting a lot of practise as keeping quiet and trying not to stare!

The silver lining is that I have now triple checked my own undergarments and am feeling comfortable that the levels of support will ensure that my assets aren’t going to attract the wrong sort of attention!

Fish and chocolate

I have issues with fish, childhood memories of barbequed fish so heavily blackened that it was hard to tell the skin from the flesh until it was too late probably don’t help.

The last couple of weeks I’ve been trying really hard though, the supermarket offers mean my experiment is cheap(ish!).

First it was cod – skinless and boneless, in a lemon and cream sauce (pre-made sauce but it was free with a voucher!). The sauce let the fish down, although watching the TV show about ‘choccywoccydoodah’ for the first time probably didn’t help as I don’t have fond memories of slightly-bullying-bosses-who-think-they-are-funny-but-have-a-possible-undertone-of-malice-to-their-comments.

Second time was yellowfin tuna, it looked ugly but tasted nice. Not sauce, just lemon squeezed over the top and cooked in tinfoil.

Next week is swordfish, I’ve not tried swordfish so it sounds very exciting!

 

I won’t be mixing fish and chocolate again.

Nails

Been trying very hard to grow my nails rather than chew them.

It turns out that my constant habit of keeping them painted (so I couldn’t see them to chew) was making them dry and brittle – so the ends were always a mess and this encouraged me to nibble them!

So I’ve been naked for a couple of months now.

Keeping them shaped is taking more time than I expected, but it worth it.

Next I really want to try out some of the fancy nail art that I keep seeing – both online and on real people. I might need to practise on a set of false nails first as I am not sure my hands are that steady!

Family Tree

I’d thought about trying this, I’d broken one site already. So I tried another one – thank goodness for free trials as I ran out of ‘known’ people pretty fast and everyone else had names that generated hundreds of possible matches!

I am not THAT fussed about knowing about people that I’ve never met as an adult, so account deleted!

V2 and Disclaimer

This isn’t really Version 2, I’ve dabbled with Blogger (aka Google), Facebook, MySpace, Live journal, Dead Journal, a proper website, a random locked Word document hidden in a subfolder of a subfolder of a subfolder, you name it and I’ve probably tried it – except Twitter. I haven’t yet worked out the point of Twitter.

And the Disclaimer? The name of this place sums it up “Where Evil Thoughts” – I suspect they never die, they wander around looking for someone to give them life, which seems fitting as in cyberspace everything lives forever.

Everything you put out into the virtual world stands a real risk of outliving you, everything you put out there then later try to hide will find a place to sit and lurk, waiting, just waiting for someone to find you and someone will always find you.
